Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. Invests in PuzzleFlow WebPairer Solutions

PuzzleFlow Solutions USA has recently completed the installation of the PuzzleFlow WebPairer pairing and imposition software solution at sixteen locations of the American-based Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. (CNHI). PuzzleFlow WebPairer was sold to CNHI by Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging, authorised reseller of PuzzleFlow solutions in the US market, as part of a complete CtP bundle that will allow each newspaper site an unparalleled level of automation.

WebPairer, created by ACCHSH and exclusively offered in the North American market by PuzzleFlow Solutions USA, is a world-class PDF page-pairing workflow that delivers all the capability expected of an advanced newspaper production system. Features such as direct printing, double trucks, creep, fan-out/web growth compensation, colour management and PDF preflight, fixing and optimization are all included in a user-friendly 100% web interface. WebPairer fully supports quarter, half and three-quarter web configurations up to 16-up. Multi-section and multi-press run layouts take only seconds to setup.
WebPairer performs three stage processing. The pre-imposition stage includes preflighting, page geometry correction, colour correction, personalisation etc. The second stage is imposition – page pairing and powerful plate naming management. The final stage is post-imposition – OPI resolving, resampling, separation, halftoning, postflight and output redistribution. The additional deadline control module allows job tracking, deadline control and information about possible delays. WebPairer is an Internet browser-based tool, allowing job tracking from every workstation having Internet access.
